Oh yeah mate, overall generalisation from Bolton and Swindon fans and their local press has been hugely positive 🤣 ….highly rated. I tell you what we shall just ignore that-Great Experienced left back.

Well that's convincing, you have just used an article that is quoting fans from 2 years ago, when he was in an higher division, blimey you are digging deep.

yes, assessments by fans of players they have on loan are often (very) wide of the mark. Millwall fans were disparaging about George Friend - who then spent the next ten years at levels higher than Millwall.

Leeds fans are still obsessed with hating on matty Grimes, every time he is mentioned on twitter you will find a few tyke neanderthals gibbering.

I'm not sure if it's the assessment of the player that's wide of the mark or the fact that, for whatever reason, the player didn't just perform very well during the loan spell.
