brentford v city match day thread

Well I'm not! We are still top the league with points, games and goal difference in hand on all our rivals. We are moving in the right direction off the pitch, attendances are well above budget and my 8 year daughter has finally got the bug. There are many ways to describe my state of mind...

    Minute's silence on Monday

If you want to know what happened at Hillsborough that day I recommend: "Hillsborough: the truth" by Phil Scraton Might open a few people's eyes if they doubt where the blame for that tragic day lies. **** Sorry! Web links not allowed for new users **** This is an effort to combat spam...

    Some slightly interesting season stats..

I think you should look at a map - Wycombe is in London? yeah just like Exeter is in Plymouth. Sky might love us (though that is debatable) but we don't love them. We never win on live TV (or the game doesn't even start - thanks Dagenham)

    All going to Brentford

You will find most of the many pubs near the ground are away friendly so long as you don't support the hooped shower from up the road. The only one I have heard of being away fans "beware" is the Albany. We have not taken anything for granted and promotion by goal difference on the last day...

    All going to Brentford

1,900 is the away capacity at GP. If you fill it you will be the first this season - but no the last - that will be Luton on the last day of the season As for running scared - no just being realistic. We are not in a good run of form and you are - but you need the win more than we do. If we...

    All going to Brentford

Wycombe was10,600 and Gillingham 7,900 so my guess would be about halfway between the two.

    All going to Brentford

Having been a home end for several seasons up until last year i can tell you that it sounds very loud when you are in the Brook Rd. terrace but it does not travel very well. Glad too see that you are brining a good few for our 3rd first v second home game in around a month.
