In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Blast from the past, Archie Macpherson. The main man north of the border for Scottish football coverage on the BBC from 1970 until the 1990s Presented Sportscene which is the equivalent of Match of the Day. Also worked for STV.
One of the last from the great era of 1970s commentators still about, Barry Davis & Martin Tyler(Southern TV) are the others.

Westward TV’s commentator was Chris Fear(1943-2002) He also presented the Monday night sports round up, which was then given a lot longer than the couple of minutes that is given to the sports round up these days.
A odd promo photo with Gus Honeybun.
Who could ever forget the time when the gantry ladder in the Cowshed was removed by a couple of supporters with Chris Fear still on the gantry 😁
He could be very critical in his comments, but they were usually spot on & a reflection of what supporters felt generally.

I was at Home Park when the Argyle "fans" did the same thing to Gary Newbon. Hilarious.

Quite a few Z Cars episodes from 1973/74 have surfaced recently on YouTube. The ones i enjoy most are the early to mid 70s productions. John Slater(1916-75) playing the surly hard nosed detective DS Tom Stone, make the era he is in it best of the series run imo.

WandaVision, Disney+, Just watched the first five episodes this morning, Really good and worth watching. Starts off as a 50's Sitcom but soon changes. I've not watched much of the Marvel Universe stuff but their are references to other Marvel characters.

There was a idea for a Only Fools & Horses series in the US. A pilot was filmed by ABC, it was to be called “The Kings of Van Nuys” It was never aired, subsequently the series was never commissioned.

Think YouTube is littered with US remakes the US try out with pilots and that's as far as they go, They end up on YouTube on some obscure channel someone has made.
