Think naming 6 subs was to make a point. The club knows we need to sign players although there's no point trying to target unrealistic signings
I'm not convinced the club fully understands. Matt has said in multiple interviews that club need to understand our situation and give him more. Don’t see why he would say that if it isn’t the case. Feel sorry for him at this point.

1. I didn't forget my ticket
2. Had a nice chat with Hants before the match
3. Watched 97 minutes of turgid football
4. Cheltenham out Wycombed Wycombe. Never thought I'd see that.
5. I came home.

We were poor, particularly in giving away possession, and in terms of lateral movement. Territorially we dominated, but there seemed to be a reluctance to shoot, or even (at times) to try and carry the ball forward into shooting positions. A very interesting struggle twixt their 9 and Sam Stubbs. It's been said elsewhere, but we miss Jevani Brown's movement, and without him look pedestrian.
I've said all that first, since Cheltenham were even more dire, and has been noted, took every opportunity to slow the game down, drop down with cramp/and/or alleged physical contact.
They scored. We didn't.
For all the the talk about players incoming (perhaps) what was out there today could/should have won, which brings me on to the topic that will no doubt feature large in comment form here on in:
The referee was abysmal. We all know it's a difficullt job, but you'd expect a level of game management and some help from his assistants, as well as an attempt to act on what was serial playacting. He lost it.
So did we.

My game of the season, absolutely loved it. This is the same crap city I know and love!

Makes me wish I'd renewed my season ticket now.

In all seriousness I'd have taken 3pts from the last two games and that's what we got. Onto Stanley.

The Bridge Inn….on a good day.
How on earth did we lose that? Cheltenham should have been beaten easily….once they scored the rest was predictable. A thoroughly depressing result…..no one on the bench capable of coming on and changing the game.
New recruits more urgent than ever.
