In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Interesting who will follow JC as Labour leader.
Will Momentum have a big say ? Probably best they do not for the countrys sake.

Long-Bailey is widely tipped, but could her association to Corbyn prove toxic ?

Starmer & Thornberry ? I think not.

Jess Phillips ? Not sure she would go down well with the true socialists(I will not stab Corbyn in the back,it will be the front. She once said)

Lisa Nandy ? Talks much sense & not as abrasive as Phillips.

Anyone else ??

Labour members tend to be the more radical types, I think. The problem for any radical leader is selling radical policies to the electorate, Corbyn didn't even try.

Moving back to the centre-left would make sense, reclaiming the UK political centre of gravity, but that would depend on whether Johnson turns out to be the centre-right one nation type he is now claiming to be, and has already planted his flag. Gaining sufficient Labour members to consider/vote for a more moderate approach is also a hurdle.

Indeed.
BJ was popular in London it would appear to a outsiders like me.
To win there(twice)in which has been a Labour stronghold for decades must have been down to a liberal conservative agenda.
He may be the same now with his big majority & be able to sideline the right wing of the Tory party.

He won't have the hassle of the right of the Tories May had, She had the ERG to deal with as she screwed up her majority in 2017, With his 80 majority they like the DUP are an irrevelance now.

Yep, I'd imagine Ms Foster was not a happy bunny after Thursday especially now Republicans outnumber them in MP's (Even though SF don't take up their seats)

Agreed. No excuses now for Boris and the Tories. If they fook up they cannot blame a rogue, mendacious Parliament.

We can vote them out next time if necessary.

I am glad that the Disgraceful Parliament of 2017 -2019 has been wasted.

People go on about Corbyn being leaver in a remain party but May was an ardent remainer, She was in power for those 2 dreadful years, Had a WA that uniting everyone in hating it and was defeated 3 times, Once by a record amount, So both sides were to blame, Not just Corbyn

The irony being,Mays withdraw agreement met almost all of the Labour partys demands on a Brexit deal.
Ken Clarke the most europhile of all Tories voted for it !
It was party politics & the usual games that killed it.
It was a 52/48 WA.
Playing party political games has bitten a few people in the bum on that one.

Corbyn just didn't want to be seen accepting a Tory Brexit and as we've seen it worked out well for him!
