Agree we all your other comments, but cant agree with these three. Troy was the worst player on the park, didn't know what to do with the ball, couldn't pass and gave away the foul for there free kick with a school bit of defending. Coles on the other hand was a lot better, made the odd mistake...
I've always thought another reason why we kick the ball wide from goalkicks is our lack of height. If we knock it wide it is more of an even contest rather then knocking it straight and there big centre back being up against one of our small strikers (Logan being the exception).
On top of that TV coverage, a new deal was signed awhile back that if I remember correctly means ESPN will be showing a game a weekend as well.
Agree with your comments earlier about the Chiefs youth set. When I use to play junior rugby, they use to hand pick all the top talent in the area, so...
Prehaps instead of looking downwards, we should look upwards at the players let go from the big clubs, like Dunne was last year. A lot of these good players from the lower leagues who get mentioned, most of them where let go from a football league club at some point.
Re: Bristol City friendly
Good friendly. Hope for a better result than the last friendly we played against them.
Have any other pre-season friendly games been annouced?
How bout sing up Big Bank! I've sat in the old grandstand quite a lot this season and you almost never hear the Big Bank apart from after we have scored.
I've been to watch the ladies a couple of time only really cause I know a couple of the players and it's ok way to spend an afternoon. The standard is ok and I've seen some cracking goals, but i find it hard to get into it when watching the games.
