Isn't he likely out of contract at the end of the season so if we like him and he likes us we can sign him permanently then. No point in throwing round 2yr deals if we don't have to.

I genuinely think this could be a cracking signing. He will get plenty of crosses from Jack and Josh

Looks like Smith is the master of rebounds and no surprise the majority of goals are with his head. Also looks to have some neat footwork for a big man. I think this will turn out to be a decent signing.

If we want an alternative way of playing then a 4-4-2 with Cox or Nombe playing off Smith might be a good combination.
