Yes, good post mate. Lest we forget that the armed forces continue to protect us all.

11 days ago. The 'wishy washy' lockdown (tm indo) started on the 23 rd., presumably for reasons other than historical averages. Context.
Just observing from some official stats read today Elgy.

While we all have the nursing staff on our minds at this time, Please spare a thought for another nurse.
L/Cpl Brodie Gillon who fell alongside 2 US servicemen in the attack on Camp Tali which also injured 12 other personnel.
As no full military funeral can be held for her at this time and for anyone that wants to will be candles lit at 21.00 this evening.

R.I.P. And thankyou for your service , Sleep now our fallen angel.
Easy to forget amidst Covid-19 that we have servicemen and women around the world, often in hell holes, putting their lives at risk on a daily basis.

Well said ramone.

Pestons long winded questions usually end up with the TV audience forgetting what the first part of the question was 🤣

Seems to have happened a few times in the last few weeks. A minister makes a statement about having had talks with a sector, then a spokesperson for that sector immediately contradicts them. It's a bit worrying though that Gove is saying there is a shortage of chemical reagents necessary for testing and then the chemical industries association say there isn't really, but no one from the government has asked 🙄. You'd have thought the government would have asked but also that the chemical companies would have said "what do you need us to do" if they hadn't.

I thought boris and the science guy said this virus won’t effect kids but a 12 & 14 year old have died today and a 5 year old is very poorly in hospital, probably more young ones that we don’t yet know about yet.

This is getting worrying now.

Gove is a past master at answering the question he wants to answer rather than the one that was asked.
He also thinks nothing of doling out innacurate or incomplete information.
I was hoping that the seriousness of the situation would lesson that.

My heart sinks every time he gets near a podium.
