The big advantage TWW/HTV had over Westward was that they had Popeye and Westward didn't.A bit of TV history..The Stockland Hill transmitter (between Axminster & Honiton) started 625 line broadcasts(Colour) on 13th September 1971,looks like they were after HTV(West) area viewers.

They also showed some test colour TV stuff prior to aerial sevices.
