Hants your new teddies appear to be breaking Lockdown rules: Not social distancing.

Love new teddies me.
I'm very poor at judging how far away plants should be from each other. I have a cabbage plant, the sole survivor from the critters that like my brassicas, it's huge and would definitely not room for 6 of them.

I've been making DIY plant food after a workmate spoke about it. Banana skins cut up and soaked in water for three days works well, left over onion skins work well too. I'm now told that if you soak weeds in a bucket of water the nutrients leach out. Haven't tried it.

Strawberries in abundance here too. Cannot keep up with them. You get to the end of a row and some more have ripened in the meanwhile; or so it seems.

Strawberry gin and strawberry jam in course of production.

Me - Blimey is that a chough over there?
Wife - No, it's a blackbird with a red beak.
Me - The strawberries! (It ate the lot).

The Hound 1 Convolvulus 0 after a skirmish this morning, but the battle is not yet won. There's bramble to be dealt with as well.
