He played a total of 8 games for Burton. A highlight appears to have been keeping a clean sheet in the FACup First round.* rather than say conceding 4 to Accrington.

He does desperately need a clean slate and some clean sheets

To be fair, I'd need to consult with Pete to be sure one or two of those goals can be blamed on Sinisalo. However, there are undoubtedly at least a couple of absolute howlers, which is all the more disconcerting if, as Andrew suggests, he only made eight starts for Burton.

Forgot about Hamon, he got defended a fair bit on here despite being miles off

For Villa to put him on the bench and Finland to give him his international debut he must have something about him, but you can’t get away from the fact his loan at Burton was an unmitigated disaster.
