Didnt Man U have opposition fans in the upper quadrant for quite a while , Keeping them well away from the pitchside ?Seems odd that people wouldn't want to have home fans in all four sides of the ground...

Ah I very rarely walk down that way so stand corrected. No there are two sets, one directly behind thew larger of the stands and the other about 30m up the road towards OTR, i think that there are two sets of turnstile at each entrance.
So what harm will do if happens, apart from bothering you ?Ah I very rarely walk down that way so stand corrected.
Still of the opinion that till we are selling out the big bank and the two seated stands that it's a not really needed.
Doesn't bother me at all, you're the one that's got a fascination with it, I've just pointed out it's not really needed and I'd imagine would probably cost the club money. So what harm will do if happens, apart from bothering you ?
Well you’ve got 7 post on this thread so I’m glad you’re not bothered.Doesn't bother me at all, you're the one that's got a fascination with it, I've just pointed out it's not really needed and I'd imagine would probably cost the club money.
In all seriousness though what have the club said to this idea?

I’m not sure why it would cost the club more money
still need the same turnstile operators and stewards
if it’s away fans or City fans.
It’s just a idea not sure if the club would consider it but it’s been
done more than a few times before.
Anyway end of discussion from me
Exactly this. It's doable, but whether it will be done if the needs arise, is a different matterI could be wrong, but I seem to recall when we played Ipswich in the Paint Pot Trophy the away end was segregated into 2. The Ipswich fans had the smaller part of the stand and we had the larger part.
The club are usually pretty pro-active so I'm confident that if the Barrow game is crucial and the Big Bank looks like being a sell-out then the away end will be opened up to City fans.Exactly this. It's doable, but whether it will be done if the needs arise, is a different matter
This chap knew what he was talking about!!!With four of our five remaining against Teams what won’t bring more than 150 fans,
it would be great if the club would open up it for the home fans.
It Shouldn’t be much of a problem to move them into the IP Stand other clubs do it .
Would help the team greatly to have us in all four sides.
Yes I can have also been going on about that as wellThis chap knew what he was talking about!!!
