Depends how deep the owner's pockets are.

Mind you, Ian Holloway is now available - and he wasn't when Tisdale was appointed. Would be a typical crowd-pleasing appointment.
Even if he stays and manages to keep him up, that may not be enough to keep his job
I'll be surprised if he's there at the end of the month, let alone the end of the season. Possibly his last job in football management too.
He didn't last until the end of the day

Statement: Paul Tisdale - News - Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers can today confirm that it has parted company with Manager Paul Tisdale.

Tommy Widdrington will be taking charge of the first-team on a temporary basis, while the Club undertakes the process of appointing a new Manager. Tommy will be assisted by Jack Mesure and Kevin Maher.

Mel Gwinnett has also left his role as Football Operations.


The Club would like to thank both Paul and Mel for their efforts and wish them both the best of luck for the future.

The Club will be making no further comment at this time.

I did think the Cheeseball might have been given the Swindon game as a last chance.

Will be interesting to see what he says at his presser.

Despite the tendency to arrogance of the man I do feel a tinge of regret.
