Well if you HAD been there then you would have heard the tannoy announcing the away support was 500.
Yeah, sorry, I had a mate there texting me updates, he must have misheard. I clearly heard him say 'tell Malcolm' before he died.

Anyone else think that was sus? There are supposed to be 580 seats in the Bisley stand, they were fill which is why they opened up the open seats where there looked to be 100 or so. That and the 'cash only' sales makes you wonder

What on earth was Pym thinking about when he let that header in? Does he not realise that you stand a far better chance at saving long range headers if you actually attempt to save them? Good thing we're scoring a boatload of goals at the other end, although its a pity Watkins 'pure' hat-trick was buggered up.

You've edited this haven't you. The first time I read it, I would swear it said 'what a brilliant result for the boys today. Congratulations to Tis and the team'.

larfing at you lot
Great hatrick from Watkins. The 3rd one was cool.A instinctive finish after beating the keeper to the ball after Simpson played him in on a breakaway..

MOM was Mcalinden.A great shift & set up the first two for Watkins..
Exactly how I saw it today Russ..thought Mcalinden was outstanding today..a constant threat.
Good to see you today by the way..its been a while

So many contenders for MoM today. I thought Stacey was outstanding. Did anyone else note his Cruyff turns in the first half?

Well that was such a contrast from the dire fare on Monday. On a pitch that was much better than feared, City looked balanced and lively even before they scored, and the weak Newport defence couldn't cope with the pace of McAlinden, Wheeler and Ollie.

Stacey now looks to have sorted out how to play RB, CRL was solid and better going forward than Woody. Apart from their soft goal when both were AWOL, Brown and JMT gave few real chances to Newport. Even James played OK, though his passing is still variable, to put it kindly, and IMO he is not robust enough for holding midfield.

All in all, "A Grand Day Out", as Wallace would say.

I see that Brown and JMT are getting the blame for "their soft goal". John seriously, you dont think Pym is in any way culpable for standing watching a header from that distance go in?
