Love the fight and determination he shows for the first goal. For those in attendance did he show much movement off the ball?
I have seen him at Tiverton and Taunton to me looks a very good signing
Think he will score loads and loads
Very strong and very very quick

I'm told he still has some edges to be knocked into shape but on his day could well be unplayable.

One thing that did impress me, was when he gave the ball away (a bit of a misunderstanding with a team mate) he worked hard chasing the ball down. Ended up giving a free kick away on the touchline, but it showed the effort you like to see.

that was one thing I noticed about his highlights. He tracked back and chased everything down

Interesting from the highlights from Taunton and Tivvy you can see he's willing to have a go from anywhere, yet also burst through, run in behind and still get himself in a position on the 6 yard box

Really excited about this one

His workrate In the Cardiff game was excellent, up against a top quality defence with opportunities limited.

And he won a really important battle for a header in our defensive third, that led to our excellent first goal, courtesy of Joel's 50 yard run and MJ's finish.

A very positive start from Nombe, we'd have probably wom a few more of the early games had he been available.

With him and Matt Jay, we won't be short of goals this season, it'll be a good competition between them for top goal scorer.

I’m still not exactly sure what a marquee player is but, however, you define it, Nombe seems to be fitting the bill so far.
