Some friends came to visit. They arrived at Newquay airport. I thought it would be good to visit St Michael's Mount. Park and pay for car park. Walking towards the Mount and see an easily missed notice saying its only open to people with an online booking.
Fortunately my friend is less old fashioned than me and managed to book via his phone.

Blanket weed on the lake and having to put on waders to drag the wretched stuff out with a rake.

This year things are looking up. A family of moorhens is assiduously eating the vile green skank so for now I have hung up me waders.

Bleddy hate vile green things me

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
Sat in traffic earlier and watched an adult ignorant cyclist make a pedestrian walk into the road because he wanted to ride on a narrow footpath instead of the road where he belongs.
20 seconds or so afterwards he went onto the road anyway.

Ramone and I have begged to differ on many things in the past (and doubtless will do again in the future) but on this he has my full agreement
