Ah yes, reminds me of the classical composer Samuel Sheidt. I often enjoy listening to a bit of Sheidt.

Seeing a tweet from a northern football club saying the FA Cup draw will be at dinner time today, then a southern football club saying it will take place at lunchtime.

Following on from the Glasgow theme on another thread........I recall a TV interview with scriptwriter Iain Pattison, who was unpopular at one time with the authorities for writing Rab C. Nesbitt at a time when efforts were being made to promote Glasgow as a City of Culture.

He managed to weave in Rab with the City of Culture rhetoric too, to decent effect.
