Yes, because we don't want to get promoted, so we play our youngsters even though we know they're not good enough (Anonymous, West Yorkshire)
Not sure what this post is about, but I think and said we should play Amond, but have the young uns on the bench, to give us a boost, we have many good youngsters, so there's no reason they shouldn't help us with promotion. We can't sign anyone until January anyway, hopefully Nombe will be fit by then.

Podge isn't really playing as a lone striker TBH, if Jay and Brown are behind him, it's more a front three.

So what happens now?
Podge slots in where Sam was.....
Sonny Cox gets his chance...
Jevani Brown is asked to play a role he's not cut out for..
We play without a striker, just like Man City...
I won't mention the Ben word..
Would play who’s most likely to put a chance away, I don’t think that is Jevani.

Has there been anything from the post match interviews that indicate the extent of the injury or are we just guessing ?

A hamstring injury can be six weeks out but conversely a player coming off as a precaution can just need treatment and rest for a week or so. He'll probably be unavailable this week in either case so Amond plays - no problem - but we'll have to wait for news before hitting the big red panic button.

A muscle injury according to Matt Taylor in his post match interview.

He’s been needing a rest for weeks now, Amond will do the job but we might shift our formation to play with a genuine partnership

Cox might well get some game time now

It’s interesting that Seymour has fallen so far down the pecking order seemingly. Has MT said anything about him recently to explain it, besides the obvious that he didn’t manage to take his chances last season?

It didn't seem that he had a great month at Yeovil. Started games, didn't score, then went to the subs bench. Now they seem to be doing better without him

No explanation needed really is there? Ben isn't very good and unlike last season, we have lots of better options available. Simple.
