Agreed, and we should do too, for all positions but particularly GK. Having a 16 year old as your first choice first team keeper would be a disaster for the team and for the player.

With the seeming plan to have a goalkeeper on a one season loan it seems likely that the plan will be to have a first choice 17 year old in 22/23

Well done to the club and Jack for getting this fixed up. As commented elsewhere, it is really difficult for keepers to get good loans and this will be valuable experience. six months gives Bideford assurance that they don't need to look for alternative first choice keepers this year.
