Good to hear. Let's hope he gets plenty of experience of men's football. As one of the articles re Jokull said, its very difficult for keepers to find appropriate loan experience.I see he's in goal for Bideford this afternoon. Hadn't seen anything about a loan.
Totally agree. It shows the benefit of signing an experienced keeper who is happy to sit on the bench. It also explains Matt Taylor’s comments yesterday about the next few weeks being a big opportunity for Harry Lee as it looks like he’ll be playing a lot during the pre-season friendlies, at least until we sign another keeper.Good to hear. Maybe we are thinking further ahead than just next season? If we accept that before the first league game we will sign a No1 (Jokull maybe? Archie Mair maybe?) and that Harry Lee will sit on the bench with Scott Brown as cover for both, where is Jack Arthur's future and why did we sign him? Shouldnt it have been Lee or Arthur?
Agreed, and we should do too, for all positions but particularly GK. Having a 16 year old as your first choice first team keeper would be a disaster for the team and for the player.Maybe we are thinking further ahead than just next season?
It might be a disaster, but then again, it might not!Agreed, and we should do too, for all positions but particularly GK. Having a 16 year old as your first choice first team keeper would be a disaster for the team and for the player.
