I didn't challenge you on your team, Harris.
I just pointed out that you didn't have Williams amongst your five in the middle.
I think you'd better read your original post again.
I know I didn't put Williams in. It wasn't like I forgot him. There was a reason. I do sometimes wonder what you're chasing at Michael.

I have no agenda, Harris. I''ve told you before I respect your opinion on footie -I know you played at a decent level- but as someone very interested in how the game is played I wanted to know the personnel that you would select in a 3-5-2.
My opinion is 4-4-2 against the theoretically weaker sides and 3-5-2 against the more dangerous teams. I still think we should continue with the Jay-Bowman partnership up front - their combined goal numbers are very good (and Seymour's not ready)
I like Williams. For all his faults, he is our main creator and can create space by beating his man.
I have often thought that William, Sparkes or Randall could be the second striker, but only when we're winning with 20 minutes to go and will do fast counter-attacks.
So, to summarize, I honestly wasn't clear about one or two points in your post.
Football? No agenda from me.
Politics thread? Yeah, maybe 🙄😉

Tom Nichols?
Always really liked him as a player. Can’t understand the stick he gets on here.

Nothing against Tom Nichols, just think we did bloody well to get £450k for him, Peterborough and Bristol Rovers fans might agree, seems to have found some sort of level at Crawley.

His level this season is the most creative player in the league. If that’s his level I’d want him at our club.

How memories fade.
When he left most on here we’re pleased to see the back of him as he was regularly subbed, rarely played for 90 minutes and goals (admittedly great when the occurred) were very scarce.
