I think anybody realistically expecting him to go straight into the first available matchday squad was living in cloud cuckoo land. Regardless of how brilliant we think he is, it is still a massive step up for him and wouldn't really expect to see him anywhere near the matchday squad until February.
It wasn't a bad call............:p

On the topic of the difference in training between L2 and the Prem, here's a pretty good interview with Bradford's fitness coach / sports scientist where he goes into that a bit. Interesting read anyway, could still be taken either way I think.
