Remember Epessi-Titi’s debut home to Blackpool and he got Man of the Match…Then he turned to turd soon after. Have a feeling he was highly rated in France as a young player and was in a Champions League squad for Marseille or someone.

Birch was good but a Walsall fan friend of mine said he ended up ******* his career away, put on loads of weight and dropped into non league.

Spencer, I’m not sure on except he was suspended when he first joined us so only played a handful of games.

Let's face it, Epesse-Titi was best remembered for his first name being a typo.

Birch was 35 when he played for us. So certainly the twilight of his career.

He passed away 10 or so years back, from memory.

You're thinking of Paul Birch. Gary was about 19 when he played for us and is still, according to Wiki, alive today.

Wash your mouth out!!!!

Was it 96 goals in 10 years. He was not perfect by any stretch but certainly wasn't useless and he also turned down numerous opportunities to leave the club across those 10 years.
I didn’t he was useless
Didn’t he was that good to be useless
People on here complain about Bowmans goal return
Flack 96 in 10 years for your main striker your having a laugh he was nearly useless

He was mostly employed as a foil for the main striker (e.g. Rowbotham, Devine) rather than as main striker himself.
