Time to play the rest of the young players on the fringe and plan to move on enough deadwood to make a new training facility at the C&F. We're nowhere near deserving promotion and pretty much safe. Could pay dividends next year and maybe convince the young players that their future lies at City.

Too much pessimism.

Teams in L2 are all over the place. A couple of wins in the next two games and we will be back in the mix

If we could play our best eleven nearly every match, including Williams, I would feel more confident.

Three games for someone to stake their claim for Bowman's place in the team and no was able to do so. Disappointing. Not helped by Matt Taylor not setting up the teams with enough intent to score goals.

Somehow they've managed to string 2 minutes of highlights together

We’re always going to get back in the mix these days (allegedly). Trouble is , if we don’t hurry the mix will leave us too far behind for comfort . Playoffs? Forget them we’ve negative vibes now towards them ,the only way is autos as we’ve known for years. No , we seem to lack consistency ,and for all the fanfare about being one of the highest scorers even that seems to have gone by the board.
p.S Where is the only person we ‘strengthened ‘ our team with in January Stubbs? Will he play this season?

And to be honest, at the moment, its not the defence that needs to be strengthened

Matt Taylor's thoughts

Starting to get a bit tired of hearing about the pitch. "You can't play the fast flowing football we want to play on that pitch" Well find another way to play then because that's the pitch we've got. It's not like its a surprise!
