Cheick was in the stands at the Shrewsbury game with his foot in a boot. He confirmed to someone asking that it was a reoccurrence of his previous injury and he would be out for about 2 months.
If this is Cheick’s likely recovery period (plus maybe sometime to build up fitness again) if there’s a surgical option, as guaranteed as you can get, that’ll fix the issue it would be worth considering doing that asap.
As this season is probably a write off for Cheick now anyway sorting the recurring issue out once and for all and then giving him the best part of 6 months to be fit and firing for next season would be sensible I think.

Excellent article

(though frustrating that this article and the recent one in the Athletic on Jamal Blackman come when Cheikh and Jamal are both out injured!)

Thank God Aimson turned up - only goodish news is that injury may mean we are less likely to lose him in summer as I suspect you know who at Rotterham is keeping an eye on him !

That's a season ending injury, they won't rush him back after last time.

What a rock our Cheick is and a credit to his religion, himself & us Grecians.
Hope to see you in R&W soon.

PS Shame that they had to film in the new canteen with all that food about though.
