ECC Materials Reclamation Facility collected 12 dumpy bags of cans today amounting to a superb 640kg which has raised a staggering £576 for Cans4City to spend on small projects relating to ECFC and the ECFC Greater Community.

Thank-you to all who contribute, if you think you could be a collection point for your friends and/or family them please pm me for more details.

A brief update on our recent donations and purchases;

A donation towards the refurbishment of Arthur Chadwick's grave.
A donation towards the purchase of food for the ECFC CT project to feed children. This is part of the Marcus Rashford scheme and administered locally by ECFC CT on behalf of DCC.
The purchase of a new, 'all singing all dancing', spreader for the Ground Staff.
A donation towards the purchase of a specialist machine to clean the floor in the lower level of the SASS.

It needs to be to ' challenge' our pitch superstar for a bit of the limelight.😉

Just to bring this back to the top again.

We have arranged for ECC to collect our next load of cans on Thursday 28th Sept. as such, this is the time to clear out your stores, drink that beer/cider etc and bring your alluminium cans along to SJP.
The collection points are in Red Square by the Red Information hut where there is a wire collection cage and a large green wheelie bin. You can also leave them in the collection cage outside the CooP in Old Tiverton Rd.

We're currently trying to arrange a green wheelie bin for the Well St entrance of the SASS stand which, hopefully, could be in place for the Walsall game - fingers crossed!!

By a rough 'back of a fag packet' [gu]estimation i think there could be 10/11 dumpy bags already, and i haven't been into SJP for two weeks so the storage is possibly overflowing, hopefully!

Could we get to 14 and possibly another £650/700 this time?

Just a quick update;
Since the end of July, we've recycled almost a tonne of cans, 920kg, and received £736.24p.

This week we've made donations to; ECFC Ladies & andysmanclub.

The ladies you'll all know about but, andysmanclub might not be so familiar, although there are flyers up around the ground, here's a link;
https://andysmanclub.co.uk

One of our previous projects has been changed, instead of contributing to the cleaning machine for under the SASS, which was not required, the donation that is not the machine, we're assisting with the purchase of a leaf sweeper for the Fountain Centre car park.

If anybody has any ECFC, or ECFC wider community, projects that we can help with a small[ish] donation, then please just get in touch.
