Oh dear. The inference was that not ALL Exonians read Exeweb.
Statement of the obvious...not all Exonians read the E and E and not all Exonians support Exeter City...so what's your point?

So... Can someone summarise for me please, being a dullard.
So whos paying the £7 million needed and what are the risks? For example if Exeter Uni don't need the extra student accommodation because they see a drop in students taking places or budgets are reduced meaning certain courses are dropped (as is happenin up and down the country) would we have to front up the cash for this venture or be liable in any way?

One would assume that how it works is that the company that builds the flats then owns them. They have (probably) 20 year discounted cash flows on them, and even them undertaking or paying us 7M GBP to build them up front should leave them with a tasty profit.

Hardly semantics but if it keeps you happy and Hants quiet then go with it...

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I wonder how much the rent will rise % for SJP,when the lease is extended...

I went along today & it was very well attended......Looks great & almost too good to be true...I expect there will be a few hurdles to jump before we see the project finished.(or started)

From what I gather from visiting SJP yesterday....cost to build flats by developer...£25m....Cost by developer to carry out SJP improvements....£7m. Developer gets rent on flats for 35 years in order to get back the £32m outlay plus good profit. After 35 years, the flats asset reverts back to ECFC/ECC.....How does that work?

Not sure about your final sentence. With you up to that point.
