I listened to, but didn’t hang on every word, MT’s interview after his new team
lost at Blackburn on Saturday. But there was something he said then that seemed to me to cast doubt on whether he is/will be able to get on with their chairman. Maybe others on here could find it, listen and see...
I wonder whether the change to 5 subs per game has altered Matt T’s thinking. Given most tactical changes in a game are with forward players there’s even more of a need for bench options, potentially able to come on and change the game, next season that last.
Hodgson and Neil Warnock! Don’t think we’ll see Woy Hodgson again, sadly by the end of last season he was looking like a frail old man, but there’s always the scary possibility that we haven’t quite seen the last of Warnock!
If we win on Saturday, one possible scenario for Tuesday could be City needing a point to go up and Barrow needing a point to stay up! Wonder how that might go! 😀
Harry seems to get to the away games up north ok, games when the team sets off on Friday morning.
Or does someone pick him up after school on the Friday and drive him up separately?
Agree with most of the above especially as it’s the one recent deal we didn’t get a decent cut out of.
But I entirely get it for Jay - if he had stayed with us and broken through he would have been continually referenced to his father and that would have got incredibly tiresome for him if not...
One of these guys who does the rounds - been at Somerset Cricket too - but never stays anywhere long enough for people to realise he has absolutely nothing to offer anyone he works for!
Sad news.
Just occurred me to me that he had the same, very sunken back, eyes as Michael Appleton, Lincoln City manager.
Can’t find anything to suggest they are related though? ....
