From where I was sat it was difficult to see where the real net ended and the practice net started, some shots looked closer than they actually were. Looking at the highlights it didn't seem to be a problem from pitch level.
Re: Exeter City vs Carlisle United - Match Day Thread
Now that he no longer lives down here his support will go elsewhere. Getting from London to Milton Keynes wouldn't be that difficult.
Re: Exeter City vs Carlisle United - Match Day Thread
I see from reading the programme that we seem to have lost our celebrity fan. For the last few seasons, Ade Edmondson has sponsored the manager, not so this season. It will be interesting to see if his support moves.
I really hope that Matt uses more of our youth players in the first team. A result like this shows that we should not be bringing in loan players from any academy, even premier league ones. We have to give our players a chance.
I can't understand the criticism of the trust model and this being someway linked to a lack of ambition. To me the trust has delivered success in the shape of stability. The longer term success should be measured by sustainability and this means the club making a profit to be reinvested. Not...
Clive Whitehead for me. The incident I remember was maybe the same one Pobop mentions at #99. It was one of the first matches for Chris Vinnicombe and he was hacked down in front of the shed. Clive "had a word", the oppo player did it again. The crowd were chanting "physco's gonna get you"...

While this is the report from the chairman of the club/business, I think it gives the trust some ideas for the future. The trust should be the owner. It appears that some of the people with the most interest in preventing the trust holding all the shares and modernising the company structure...
While the two year rolling contract seemed extravagant this time last year, we now have three year contracts being given to players. Moxey and Stockley being two we know of. As the manager giving them out, it's not surprising he is looking for the same security.
Good team performance. Seven changes to last time. Missed the quality of the over age players (as well as Jamie Reid and JMT). Tom McCready seemed to go off injured in the first half. Had a lot of chances we couldn't put away. As already said, they were a much better side than Southend...
Just got around to resetting my pass word after a long break.
Enjoyed the game last night, looking forward to more U21 games at the park.
It was set up just like a first team game. Did the new warm up at the away end and attacked the big bank in the first half. Played with the same style...
