I interpret his statement as being "I certainly hope we will have signings before Saturday, hopefully even before Tuesday" as opposed to "We will certainly have signings before Saturday, hopefully even before Tuesday". The wording is ambiguous though - maybe one meaning or the other was clear to the participants of the conversation from the flow of the conversation.
