Does this leave Swindon needing a manager thought? That could be a worry for us
Why would it be a worry? Managers come and go all the time, MT seems settled, Its up to the club to match his ambitions. Football and mangers is certainly not worth worrying about.

I was surprised by how many people were believing that he might be about to leave.
We had it with our previous manager and we've done ok since.

Matt Taylor will leave one day and it might even be this summer if the right job comes up in the north-west. It just never seemed likely he was about to move Charlton and I was just surprised by the number of normally sensible people who seemed convinced he was.

Not sure that I saw many on here with any firm conviction….. and that it was all generally taken with the proverbial pinch of salt lol.

If you're not on the wind up then you need your head read. Why would Matt Taylor leave a club that he has just won with promotion and great affection to a club who are the division below and that he has no connection to?

Taylor is ambitious. That was obvious when he was a player. Why would he take a backward step and drop down a division to a club that has shown little stability over the past few seasons. Its just not happening.
