Last night (Tuesday) 10pm BBC2 The Witchfinder, Quite an amusing tale of a Witchfinder in the 17th Century taking a "Witch" (Daisy May Cooper, This Country) to the Witchfinder General in Chelmsford.
Quite amusing is about right so far. Not quite adding up to the sum of its casting parts.

16th March 1983.

Sportsnights staple midweek diet was Boxing for many years. A World Championship this evening(bout was the previous evening)from Wembley Arena featuring Charlie Magri challenging for the WBC Flyweight Championship.
Not unusual to watch a Championship bout the next day on TV back then.

Finished the 7th & final season of Bosch on Amazon Prime.Binged the whole series in a couple of weeks.
Well worth watching. Titus Welliver is excellent as the hard bitten LA Detective in the Hollywood Homicide Division.

It looked like their could be a spin off series, but i suspect that was put on ice due to the shutdown of production in studios post April 2020.

Lindsey Wagner from the ABC series The Bionic Woman on the cover of US TV guide around this time in 1978.

It was ‘must watch’ back in the day.

Can anyone remember the excellent apocalyptic made for TV movie made by ABC. The Day After (1983) which was set in Kansas 2DAFDD5A-906A-40BE-A093-D387057023A7.jpeg198
In a similar vein to Threads produced by the BBC around the same time, broadcasted in 1984 to scare the life out of viewers.
I was reminded of the latter after watching a link about Threads sent to me on Twitter.

Both have only been shown once on UK TV to the best of my recollection, the subject matter was no doubt deemed irrelevant post 1990.
