In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I held off booking a bargain few days at The Alex Hotel in Fort William yesterday until Monday, could be a wise move...I checked the restrictions for the Highlands & there were very few compared to the rest of Scotland.

Because there are no cases there (virtually)
Like most of rural Southern England, rural Wales, rural France, rural Spain...

All hospitality and non-essential retail to be shut from Thursday for 4 weeks in England
Whole country into "Tier 4"

Quite a leap for those areas in Tier 1..

Not according to official SAGE group ...

I prefer evidence based information. The numbers in the BBC article are estimated and bear no resemblance to the figures for reported cases. No doubt actual cases are higher than reported cases but that is all speculative.

Why not just forget the fiction of tiers and call it a National Lockdown, which is what it is.

And make it clear the 4 weeks is just the first instalment
