Let's hope that the feeling of injustice tonight is taken out on Tranmere on Saturday!

You can't really believe that statement surely?
They battered us for the last half hour. It was only a matter of time really until Exeter conceded.
Such a shame City started panicking to get it forward instead of playing it forward with the ball on the ground like the first half.

Each to their own however I think missing the likes of Law, Lee Martin and Dean Moxey is a big loss for our squad.
So dont you think the players that played in that game deserved the three points they sweated bullets for? Instead of being let down by the last line of defence like they were?

Wrong. 9 times out of 10 refs play exactly the number of minutes on the board, unless there is a stoppage.
Trust us that on the two times they haven't this season we have conceded a goal on both occasions.
‘Unless there is a stoppage’. You’re saying there weren’t any during stoppage time? It’s not the referee’s fault if we play to the clock and not the whistle.

Fantastic game and performance shame we were unable to keep the pressure up on their midfield and back four throughout the second half.
Exactly it was a terrific team performance but whatever way you look it at after being the best team in the first half we spent most of the second half with our backs to the wall. Nevertheless totally gutting that we could not quite get over the line but still a great result.

It’s nothing to do with what those players deserved. The point being made was that those missing players might have made us a better team. If that were to be the case maybe we would have been more comfortable defending our lead, or maybe we would have been defending a bigger lead.

However to try and blame Pym is frankly ridiculous. Perhaps the defence might have done better preventing Akinde getting a shot off. Perhaps the midfield might have done better in keeping possession preventing that final Lincoln attack. Perhaps the strikers might have done better and given the team a bigger lead to defend. But no, it’s the keeper’s fault - it’s ALWAYS the keeper’s fault. In a team game it’s obvious the result is entirely down to the keeper. Every single time.

What are you talking about? Of course you play the clock when one- nil up and the game goes into ‘added time’ away from home against the league leaders....... MT makes a sub but that doesn’t constitute 3 mins of added time on top of the 4
shown, it’s called game management, sadly we were let down by the officials tonight.

They're a team. They don't hang each other out to dry like some on here because they know a costly mistake next week or the week after, or the week after that could be them.

I thought we deserved a point overall and that's what we got. A point beforehand would have been more than acceptable.

I don't subscribe to the lambasting of the officials. Added time, no matter what amount has to be defended properly and we didn't do this. We wouldn't be slating the officials if the boot were on the other foot and we'd equalized in the dying embers and whilst we are all p****d off it's important to keep balance. It's annoying as hell though.

Gutted but we're still in the mix.
