Had a look at their forum (basically because we're playing them soon and because Tis at a different club is still a bit of a novelty). Once we've played them that will be that.

a) They're very pleased with how solid they're looking defensively.

b) They're loving JMT and he is a 'real find'. :S

c) They're worried about how few creative/flair players they have in a match day squad... (surely not?)

d) They could do with another striker (who doesn't?)

pretty juvenile comment there snoop. Don't suppose you called him that when his goals went in for city. You feeling a bit hurt he left you? Oh dear. Never mind. Love hurts.

Why exactly would he call him that when he was scoring goals for us?

Come on Geoff, you’ve been around long enough to know the rules of this game mate.

When a player wears our shirt and gives his all for it, he’s a legend who we would fight to the death to defend. If he wears our shirt but doesn’t give his all, we reserve the right to insult him. If we force him to leave or we get a huge amount of money for him, he remains a legend. If he chooses to leave we reserve the right to act as if he raped our grandmother.

I don’t make the rules mate, don’t blame me.

PS: personally, I will be applauding Tis, Ryan, JMT and Simpson on Saturday.

No, because I wasn’t there.

If I was I would have been indifferent. Not my favourite player but scored against argyle, so not deserving of vitriol but not deserving of adoration either.

Bennett clearly did far more for ECFC than Robbie Simpson.
