Jason talking bollox as usual. :D

Bobby O is currently crocked and in his thirties, might be able to tempt him back from Mansfield !

Not sure what his "glovesman credentials" are like but, despite being 48, at 6ft foot 7 inches surely this gentleman would fill at least one of our Arizonan requirements?

Mea culpa. Ever since the BBC sacked me at the weekend there's been nothing else to fill the existential void. :(

I actually bumped into Matt. I asked him if I could ask one question and it was about the GK Coach leaving.

He said he doesn't want a coach and would rather combine the wages from Pym and the coach and get in a older player who doesn't need coaching on higher wages. So expect a ex championship 35 year old goal keeper who's seen it all and done it all.

Kudos to MT. I like his thinking.
Very good. Apart from the immediate recruitment advert on the ECFC website for a new goalkeeping coach, everything points to a decision not to recruit a goalkeeping coach.

ramone;) Maybe Matt is just clearing out the remnants of the PT era [/QUOTE said:
Erm... Weale, like Wiseman, was a Taylor appointment. What Matt will be starting the summer doing is remedying the consequences of many of the recruitment decisions he made last summer. Or am I about to be whooshed...

Another surprise in my book, slightly unnerved by the degree of unexpected turnover. For some reason I thought all was cosy in the backroom, obvious got that well wrong.
Everybody wishing everybody else well and saying they have had a great time,,, and by the way I am off.
Rather a lot of holes to fill both on and off the pitch.

We dont need a dedicated GK coach, particularly at our level; A waste of money. You cant coach a keeper like you can a bunch of outfield players. I dont understand how a coach in that department works anyway, particularly when according to the OS article, Weale was a trainee himself? He was learning the ropes (whatever that might entail) FFS.
