I agree with you Richard. If the fans were better informed they would be more likely to get behind the club both financially and vocally on match days.

I emailed the club and they have confirmed that the OP calculations are correct and that they are going to offer discounted tickets online. That means my "9 games free" will not be correct and before anyone says anything my letter does NOT say up to 9 games free.
The letter clearly says that you save by buying the season ticket the equivalent of 9 games "compared to buying individual match tickets". So if they offer a discount by buying individual match tickets then the letter is either misleading or the pay on the gate tickets are going to be even more...
