John O'flynn. Had a near 1 in 2 record before joining if I remember rightly. Also remember being impressed with Callum McNish during preseason, but he turned out to be rubbish.

Steeve Epesse-Titi...... had a magnificent name (including that double ee), built like a brick outhouse and turned out to be a completely useless defender

Also I thought Cummins was going to be the target man we needed except he had no idea how to hit the target

Remember his debut and he was great but that was the best we ever saw or him.

Another one was forward Gary Birch who we had on loan from Walsall I think. He started well and then turned out rubbish...

Neil Saunders was always a big let down for me. Came alongside Matt Taylor and we were assured he was the better of the pair and when he came back from injury would be tearing it up. Never really happened, although that goal against Barnet can't be forgotten.
Manny Panther was another one, not sure why I expected such big things but he didn't live up to the hopes.

Because at the time we needed someone who could get amongst it up front I was optimistically hoping Parkin might deliver after a reasonable home debut, but he was awful. Going back a bit I was pretty disappointed when Richard Young went "missing"

I remember being giddy when we signed Barlow & McCarthy from them lot down the road, thought we were in for a good season. Lee Sharpe deserves a mention as well.

Robbie Simpson. Signed up early in the transfer window making me think that he was going to be a real asset and not one of the left-overs in late July.

Sigh.

Only that goal v Hull saved him from my list.
