Not a massive step up considering the season he had, but they're pretty stable within League One, so not a bad move.

Means another team in our league looking for a keeper, though. I know it's very early days, but I hope we get someone in next week.

Not sure I would call Bristol Rovers stable on or off the pitch. They looked likely to be relegated for much of last season and only stayed up in the end by four points. Off the pitch they were warned for submitting their accounts late, were paying a scarcely believable nine thousand pounds a week in interest in the season before last and are technically insolvent and reliant on funding from their owners

And from what I hear from the many Gasheads around here, that funding isn't forthcoming!

In 2 years, Woody will be almost 39. Please no.
I thought woody had a great season, Ashley Cole is still going he must be over 40 by now.

Comparing Ashley Cole to Woodman is like comparing Alan Shearer to Matt Rhead.

Fun fact though - similar birth dates, 2 years apart.

22 December 1982 Woody
20 December 1980 Ashley Cole

I bet Ashley's middle name isn't Alan though. That stands Woody out from the crowd.

Everyone needs an Alan in their life. True story.
