Vardy ordered to pay 90% of Coleen Rooney’s legal costs estimated at £1.5 million and she will have to pay her own costs too. Around £4 million in all.

Lawyers laughing all the way to the bank.

Even a more insane waste of money when it was reported that Coleen Rooney tried to get things sorted before it went to court..Vardy refused...Pride comes before a fall.

Think we need to "Re-Write" this, Jamie Vardy will have to pay 90% of the legal costs. Remember when getting married, "For richer an for POORER" 🙂

Best entertainment in many a moon, all set up and paid for by Mrs Vardy. What's not to like?! Thank you Rebecca.

One day someone will explain to me how this got to court (and I believe the Old Bailey no less) when many many many actual crimes get shut down by the CPS

Think that has ready been discussed and maybe near starting production, One to avoid if ever made, Might be a new version of the old series "Crown Court"

I think deals have already been signed (with both parties).

Then there'll be the book deals...and more I'm sure. It almost makes it worthwhile, even if you lose!

That’s a lot of money for giving some tit tat to a paper, I wonder if she will learn from the experience ?

No, it was the Royal Courts of Justice. The Old Bailey is for criminal cases. The CPS don't get involved with anything at the former, where I believe Elton John once took his ex-florist to court. It usually panders to what the rest of us would consider minutiae.
