I pulled that one off a fb group.Football in the 70s

I go to the Devon Records Office sometimes to look at the E&E archive(when it was a good newspaper!)

Can anyone remember the last game of 76/77 against Aldershot at SJP.
A a few brave lads managed to get onto the Cowshed roof & were looking over the front !
Amazed they did not fall through given the rusty state of the corrugated roof.
A few others climbed the supporting pillars at the front & sat in the Y at the top.
That was a great day, I remember sat on the grass banking and the pitch invasions. I remember seeing several pics on here of that day but can’t find them.

I can't see us moving unless for the next ten years we're challenging or in the Championship, For L1 & L2 SJP is fine.
Rumours around saying plans are well advanced for a new stadium.

No hard hats!
No Hi Vis vests!
No work gloves!
(And, I bet, no safety footwear as well)
Hope no-one from the HSE sees this picture. :D
