The way that Scotland have decided grades in their exams is an horrendous embarrassment. To judge a pupil's result on the school they attended rather than their ability is a huge mistake. You'd hope that the minister in Holyroyd would resign. What a load of snobby pointless individuals involved in this.

All the children getting results this week have only ever been educated under SNP rule. No one else to blame for this fiasco.

You obviously haven't seen their handling of a new huge hospital up there RP, Over budget, Late completion etc . While Ms Sturgeon keeps harping on about Indyref2 The SNP seem to be putting their domestic agenda on the back burner.

It is said that England’s rise up the educational rankings are in large part down to the reforms that the Gove/Cummings axis helped push through a few years back.

I hadn't but am not surprised. How about the tram fiasco in Edinburgh too.

It's why I detest their endless high and mighty posturing and wailing grievance. If Scotland had been run competently on issues it runs itself, and has done for nearly a generation, then fair enough, attack 'remote Westminster'. But it hasn't been for almost a generation now.

As much as Indo, Elgy and others berate the way Johnson wrapped himself in the Union Jack and said we'd be better alone with no substance behind it, Sturgeon, Salmond and Co do the same with the Saltire but are seen as competent and enlightened.
