David Soul who played Hutch in S&H became a bit of an Anglophile and a big footy fan too, Not 100% sure but I think support's Crystal Palace, As for the programme who can forget Huggy Bear, Played by Antonio Fargas?

Arsenal fan mate..He was a regular at Highbury when he was in this country.

Antonio Fargas did a bit of panto in this country a few years back.

The brilliant intro to Stingray,then that wonderful drumming.
“Anything can happen in the next half hour”
I doubt the kids of today would go much on it but it was amazing for kids in the late 1960s.
It’s unusual how the intro starts off in Black & White then changes to Colour.Not that that would have been noticed in most UK households at the time.

Remember seeing Ronnie Corbett sat in the stand at Palace a lot on match of the day / The big match, back in the 80's
