From what I heard the reason he played was to prevent his pro playing licence from expiring so that he is still able to register as a (back up!) player next season.

Sousnds feasible to me. After yesterday I am also convinced that he will be here next season.
thats what i was told yesterday. Hes going nowhere

It's also the first time in his City reign that there has been nothing of monumental importance riding on the last game of the season.

Does anyone not think this would have happened sooner had the scenarios in those end of season games been different?

Tis made his debut on that pitch and maybe wanted to end his carear on it could be a simple answer however i fear he maybe off now, i hope tis and most of all steve p stays as we would fall quicker than the scum without them.

Great season but sadly it will be back to fighting relegation next season.
