Coaches with the opening sky lights. Left up to the passengers to open & close.
I can hear/feel the well-engineered 'clunk' reading this.

Not exactly you dont see it anymore but with BST finishing in the early hours of tomorrow and GMT comes into place with the clocks going back an hour I'm noticing that i have less and less clocks, watches, timers on ovens etc to phyiscally put back an hour, Most are "Smart" clocks where it is done automatically, My phone, Lap top, Car, Watch are all smart so no need to do it, We have one oldish wall clock in the lounge that needs to be done manually but compared to when i was a kid where it was an event to do, Now its just this one and when that goes I'll get one that does it itself.

Some of the fireworks in this selection box.
Rip-raps at the bottom of the box. That would jump everywhere, straight into the fireworks box if you were unlucky.
I remember the aeroplane firework too. That one could also fly anywhere in the crowd.

Ah the fun we had with fireworks, putting bangers through people's letterboxes, firing rockets from milk bottles at one another. Kids not turning up for school Monday morning....

Good old days.

I also remember mini rockets & especially Bangers.
Empty the gunpowder from a few Bangers, put the contents into a tin, throw a match in to make a genie.
