A pint of Mild served in The Crown Accrington 🙁
Been looking forward to that all week.

£5.40 for a pint of Neck Oil here. It’s £4.60 in St Anne’s Well,Exeter & I thought that was expensive !
£3.30 a pint of ale in Grants. A good selection of ales, etc but no mild.

Wow , and that’s without the inevitable impact of fuel rises. After that it will head towards six or seven pounds which you’d think would be unsustainable. No room for manoeuvre at that price.Empty pubs on the way.

In a legal context "QCs" appearing in court.

They are now, obviously, "KCs".

Surely there must be at least one in the higher reaches of "The Bar" called Jones....if only to keep the system "rockin and a-rollin" along the judicial railtrack?

I wonder what Rumpole would have called KCs ?

He called QCs Queer* Customers.

*Meaning strange, odd or peculiar in this context

The pension "Triple Lock"...if rumours are true. 🤬

Yet another Tory manifesto "promise" consigned to the dustbin of personal political expediency.

Still, if it further alienates the fast dwindling ranks of their core support then I guess it's a price worth having to pay.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Coaches with the opening sky lights. Great for venting the coach of cigarette smoke. Left up to the passengers to open & close.

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
The pieces of art destroyed on the very annoying Jimmy Carr new show !

The 2 so called bits of art that really needed to be destroyed was the bust by Rachel Dolezal , Not only for her representing herself as black when she was in fact white but the bust she created was utter rubbish !

The other was the Sally Mann picture of her very young daughter with no clothing.
