Is it possible Biden could become president and Trump win the popular vote?
It would be the plot twist 2020 really needs :)

Don't think that's very likely.

Looks like trump now has Georgia, Ohio & NC albeit by a whisker.

So the earlier 274 EV prediction could come to pass with just Wisconsin & Pennsylvania lost. Which were it to happen, is bloody close. But I'm going to bed now; we may not even know for sure in the morning!

STOP PRESS

The betting markets have just flipped completely.

Trump now odds on. He takes Ohio (looking likely) and it's probably his.

Yup. Trump win looks most likely now, barring a late flurry of Biden postal votes. Well there you go, surprises all round.

A bit of humble pie from pollsters in the US at the moment on radio & TV.
They are getting the excuses in already.

If Trump goes on to win that'll be the first bit of good news for Johnson this year!

Just heard Corbynism of the left of the Democratic Party mentioned as a excuse 😁

But those are millions of votes, not least in cities like Milwaukee and Philadelphia. Trump ahead 52-48 in a state sounds clear, but it's like the UK saying "80% counted, so it's done, we're only waiting for London now, which might change everything but we're not going to count them tonight, let's go home instead".

It's crazy that they don't just get it done ASAP, but there you go.

Might not be as over as first expected. Biden leading by 6 in Arizona. He also needs to hold on to Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Trump is leading in all three, but they all have significant chunks that report in person votes before mail in.

Biden can actually afford to lose Wisconsin if he bags Arizona.
