Anybody else think Chas is Teignmouth's Jethro ?
He's certainly more amusing.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but it was my first match this season yesterday for various reasons but from my regular view on the bank it was the first time I have not been able to see the goal line, does anyone know if the new pitch is slightly longer or has it just been moved slightly closer to the bank? Just an observation really but the pitch certainly looked a vast improvement then I can remember seeing at the park before.

I don't think the pitch has moved. We're you just stuck behind a fella with a big head?

My first time at the park for over 2 years on Saturday and the pitch looked fantastic. Well done to Chas and the team.

Ha, definitely not, comparing pictures I’ve taken over the years it’s either moved or been made longer, it’s no big deal I guess just didn’t know if anyone else had noticed too.

Wasn't it moved when we had the drainage done, during Tisdale's tenure.

The artificial pitch at the training ground was deliberately built to be the same dimensions as SJP so i doubt it's got any bigger.

Yes it was moved away from the old grandstand and slightly towards the big bank if i remember. Fair few years ago now though!

Comfortably mid-table
The current pitch (left hand picture) compared to the previous one (right hand picture).
Not a lot in it but I'd say the goal line is marginally (a foot to 18 inches) closer to the Big Bank now.
Follow between the goal line and the Big Bank fencing - strip on the left side is slightly thinner.
