It will be very interesting to see how Jack will do in Lg 1. Can he up his game a little bit more and become a bonafide Lg 1 player
I've also often wondered if he could play as a kind of attacking, left of centre (but not winger) midfielder player. He can certainly dribble and shoot. I can imagine him making a run at defenders from midfield and thumping in a shot from 20-25 yards a la Bobby Charlton

Plus he doesn’t seem to mind getting stuck in.

Not totally. By discussing the merits of our current players we can make conclusions about the players we need to bring in and thus agree or disagree with possible signings as suggested by various posters.
Having said that, yes, not much happening yet

Azaz or Olaofe would both be very good, although I’m not sure we play the correct system for the latter.

Scrimshaw is a striker but has had a poor scoring record during his loans so far.

Not much to bite on in this one , not surprising considering our limited budget and our need to wait for affordable opportunities. We might have to be bored for a little while yet. When we’re down to trying to sign players from the Exeter and District Sunday League we’ll know we’re in trouble.
