We would never have got Sam Cosgrove…or the two Bristol boys it’s to do with our geographical location unfortunately for us being in the arse end of nowhere. Players just don’t want to come.
We couldn't afford them.

Coley's a frustrating one - there's a good player in there somewhere I'm sure but has been largely disappointing so far. Guess it doesn't help being played in different positions which don't seem to suit him.
Coley is frustrating. He just doesn’t seem to improve. I don’t think he’s going too either he’s 24, there’s a player in there somewhere…highly unlikely it’s ever going to come to fruition.

What makes you think Saydee is any good?
Decent spell at Burton last season - not fantastic sure but can do a job and would be better than having no one

Decent? He started 7 games, 11 off the bench and didn't score.

I'd rather Sonny Cox got that game time personally.

They'll come if we offer them appropriate money to compensate. But we can't. As a Trust fan-owned club we never will be able.. Either get use to it, or find outside funds in the shape of an investor..... and give that person some flex to build (without being able to bring the Club down). That of course is easier said than done , but they are out there.

But all that's for another thread.

You have to question how, when we only have 3 in…

Does anyone know how much the trust contributes to the club annually?

It does feel like the model we have resigns us to forever being a league two size club. Even when we get promoted we’re doing it on a mid table league two budget. It’s nice being fan owned but you do think we need to revise our model somehow if we want to establish ourselves as a league one club or have any ambition of progressing to the championship one day.

Because Argyle recently had a four million pound investment and Rovers lose seven figures every year.
